Norwich boss Adams warns Stoke of Redmond asking price

Norwich City boss Neil Adams insists Stoke City must cough up big for Nathan Redmond.

An offer of about £3.5m has already been turned down and Adams insists his relegated side are in no hurry to cash in on the prized assets.

Adams is quoted by The Sentinel: "Nathan is a player we want.

"There will be plenty of bids and we will knock them all back as best we can unless and until it becomes like the Robert Snodgrass situation, when it reaches a point you have to do business.

"We have said we don't need to sell many times, and that included Robert Snodgrass, and we will be trying our hardest to keep each and every single one of them. Of course speculation and rumours will be rife.

"We can talk about bids for our players and we want to keep them all but we have to be realistic.

"If an offer comes in that is many, many millions and is mouthwatering we have to be ready if we lose that player.

"We know other clubs will try to have a go at them, particularly now the World Cup has finished, I expect it will hot up now and if they do go we try to replace them with better ones."
