Norwich City boss Neil Adams defended his team selection for defeat to Fulham.
Adams' ploy was to leave skipper Sebastien Bassong out of the matchday squad altogether and while the defender took the news well, ultimately the failure of a new-look back four to keep a clean sheet meant Norwich sunk even further towards the relegation zone.
"Seb is a fantastic player," said Adams. "He is the team captain and still is, so there is no agenda there. I told Seb I will need him - he is a big part of this team.
"Seb was in the changing room with the rest of the players wishing the lads all the best. He wants it as much as any of us."
