North Queensland tie up Dodd, Hingert deals

North Queensland Fury have added two new players to its inaugural list. Former Wellington Phoenix defender Karl Dodd has been snapped up along with teenager Jack Hingert.

"They both played in the trial against the Brisbane Roar here in Townsville at the weekend and did well," Fury coach Ian Ferguson told the club's official website.

"Young Jack came over to Perth with us played two games there and was absolutely sensational."

28-year old Dodd was excited to get another chance at the top level.

"I haven't really enjoyed it the last couple of years. I just want to play and if you're enjoying your football then you'll play better," he said.
