North Queensland intent on commencing winning culture

North Queensland Fury are keen to begin a winning culture at the brand new club.

The fury take on fellow A-League newcomers Gold Coast United in a pre-season friendly at Skilled Park tonight and defender Robbie Middleby points out that the club are intent on getting a positive result.

"Definitely, and I think for us as well it's important (to win) , regardless of who is playing for us, we want to start getting results for ourselves," Middleby said.

"I absolutely hate losing, regardless if it's at training or a friendly match or whatever, so that winning culture is so important. But, in saying that, you can't emphasise it so much with so many players out and so many triallists, but regardless of who is out there, you want to win. You want that winning culture to be part of North Queensland Fury football club."

The Fury will be without many big name players including Robbie Fowler as they continue use trialists they hope can shore up their list.
