North Queensland Fury will include new signings Dyron Daal and Kojiro Kaimoto for tonight's A-League opener against Sydney FC. The pair were both granted visas and clearance from Football Federation Australia late yesterday as they signed short-term playing deals for the Fury, says the Townsville Bulletin.
Giant Dutchman Daal will replace injured Scotsman Scott Wilson (foot), while Japanese player Kaimoto comes in for New Zealand's Jeremy Brockie (thigh).
Despite not being named in coach Ian Ferguson's original 15-man squad on Wednesday, striker Daal and defender Kaimoto's clearance means they are available for inclusion.
The Fury were remaining tight-lipped on the final make-up of the run-on team yesterday, but it is understood Ferguson has been delighted by the duo's training form.
Daal joins North Queensland from Ross County in the Scottish Football League, while Kaimoto arrives via Bonnyrigg in Sydney, but has played in the respected J-League.
