South Australian state league club Adelaide City have slapped a transfer fee on North Queensland Fury target Fred Agius. Agius is tied to a contract for a further two years at Adelaide City, whose owner Bob D'Ottavi told The Advertiser: "I think it's only fair that when a player is required at a higher level, some sort of compensation be paid.

"That's all we're asking."

Adelaide are said to be seeking around $20,000 for the former Australia U17 star.
