North Queensland Fury coach Ian Ferguson remains undecided on whether or not to hand trialist Dyron Daal a contract.
The 26-year old Dutchman has been on trial since for a week now and despite plenty of injuries in the Fury camp, Ferguson is non-committal on the players prospects.
''It's been a long journey for him, he's hardly done any training, he hasn't done any pre-season ... and he's going to be here for a couple of weeks,'' he said.
''Hopefully as time goes on we'll see a lot more of him.
''I've got to see him in a game situation as well,'' Ferguson said.
"No (he won't play against Sydney), I'm looking more towards (this) week and where we will have a closed-door game and how his game level is.''
Daal, who plays as a striker, has had stints with Scottish clubs Aberdeen, Dundee United, St Johnstone and Ross County as well as a short spell in Spain with CF Fuenlabrada.
