West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan is delighted for manager Sam Allardyce after he was named Manager of the Month for February.
The Hammers won all four games in the month, with Nolan playing a starring role by scoring five goals and earning a subsequent nomination for Premier League Player of the Month.
"It's a deserved honour for the gaffer," Nolan told whufc.com. "It was a fantastic achievement by us as a whole squad and team, and that's including the staff as we count us all as one.
"It was a fantastic February. The late goal at Everton put a bit of a dent in that but it's well-earned and deserved by the gaffer and hopefully now March is going to go similarly well for us. We want to get another good few wins under our belts and get another run going.
"It's always nice when you get a little accolade, but I'm delighted to be able to contribute to the team in a positive way after a tricky four or five weeks."
