Noble implores West Ham to step up against QPR

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble has urged his team to show 'more heart' and step up their performances if they want to break their dismal run in the league against QPR on Saturday.

The Hammers lost 2-0 to Manchester City on Sunday which means they have won just twice in their past 16 Premier League outings, prompting the following words from Noble.

"We've got QPR next week and we've got to play a lot better," admitted Noble. "Against a team that's fighting for their lives, we know it's going to be a tough game.

"The crowd's going to be up for it. We need to go there with some heart and try to get a result."

West Ham sit 10th on the league table with five matches remaining in the 2014/15 season.
