No Hearts sentiments for Dundee United new boy Skacel

Rudi Skacel insists there will be no warm feelings when he takes on former club Heart of Midlothian this week.

Czech midfielder Skacel and Dundee United host the Jambos in the Scottish Communities League Cup following his debut in his new colours on the weekend and he is determined to get another victory with the Arabs despite taking on his old teammates.

"It will be a bit weird to play against Hearts but I want to make sure I do everything for United and help us go through," said the former Tynecastle hero.

"Hearts are in the past so I don't want to speak about that. I am fully focused on United and trying to do my best for them.

"I want to get through in the League Cup and that's it.

"They will be my enemies for 90 minutes. It is another game but it is also a little bit special because it is against Hearts.

"I have come to United to help them win matches. I don't want to lose this tie."
