Brazilian striker Nilmar has completed the signing of a four-year deal with Al Rayyan.
The 28-year old has left Spanish club Villarreal to join the Qatari outfit with confirmation coming on the club's official website.
Nilmar had been keen to leave El Madrigal after the Yellow Submarine were relegated to the Segunda Division last season and there were reports of interest from Internacional and clubs in Russia but he has now made the move to Qatar. Previously, Nilmar spent time with Internacional, Lyon and Corinthians.
