Efe Ambrose did not escape the wrath of Celtic manager Neil Lennon for his mediocre showing in Tuesday's Champions League defeat at the hands of Juventus.
The Bhoys were beaten 3-0 at home after some rueful defending, for which Ambrose was a culprit, and his performance was not unnoticed by his manager.
Ambrose only returned from South Africa on Tuesday morning following Nigeria's triumph on the African Cup of Nations on the weekend and Lennon has indicated perhaps it was the wrong choice to select him.
"He was poor for the first goal and then he has missed a great chance to make it 1-1," he said.
"Unfortunately for him he has just had one of those nights. I am not sure if it was fatigue or a lack of concentration, but the third goal is very disappointing from Efe's point of view."
