Nigerian legend Taribo West has told Lazio midfielder Edy Onazi to stay in Rome for at least another year.
The Nigerian youngster is being linked with Tottenham, among several Premier League clubs, this season.
West, who brought Onazi to Italy, told Lalaziosiamonoi.it: "I think he's grown a lot as a player in these two seasons, has shown significant progress.
"In my opinion, he must remain at Lazio another year, in order to have the opportunity to play with continuity and demonstrate a higher value.
"Only then can he think about his future, but at this moment he should think about Lazio and try to win something here."
