Nice president Pierre Rivere has rejected transfer speculation around goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The former Leicester City captain has been linked with a January exit amid claims he's left management unimpressed by his professionalism.
"I saw the news when I arrived at the stadium. I didn't see him. Honestly, we are far from reality," said Rivere .
"He is a boy who doesn't have much to prove. Sometimes it takes time to adapt and he spent ten years at Leicester. It is a new world, a different universe.
"We have rules, and Kasper follows them. He is not a player who wants to change things.
"I was shocked when I saw the article earlier. I don't understand how you can say that about a player. We are here to support him. He is part of the team and I am convinced that he will give everything for the team."
