Nice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel hopes owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is successful in his bid for Manchester United.
Ratcliffe's Ineos are owners of Nice and have made an offer to buy a controlling stake in United.
Schmeichel told Sky Sports: "I am obviously biased when I say that I hope that Ineos becomes the new owner of United, but let's see what happens.
"One of the biggest reasons why I moved to Nice was Ineos, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford. They have a vision of how they want to develop this sport because they have been successful in all the other sports they have invested in.
"Sir Jim Ratcliffe in particular is a big Manchester United fan, and I imagine it appeals a lot to the fans that there is a new owner who really cares about the club. My own experience at Nice is that he is a man who is present and comes to the games. He also knows a lot about football and not least about performances."
