Next season one of Swansea's biggest - Monk

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has stated that next season will probably be one of the biggest in the club's history.

The Swans have enjoyed a fine campaign this year and look destined to finish in the top half of the Premier League table. Therefore, many have rightly hailed Monk for the stellar work he has conducted at the Liberty Stadium in his first full season as a manager.

However, the Swansea boss is not resting on his laurels and is already looking towards building for next season by strengthening his squad rather than selling key men.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the clash against Hull City, the 36-year old said: "I want to build on what we have, add quality and not take it away.

"I want to finish the season as strong as possible and put that way of working into them because it's probably one of the biggest in the club's history if you look at the rewards for next season."
