BILD says Bayern are in talks with Newcastle today about the veteran fullback.
And ChronicleLive says Newcastle would be willing to sell if an offer as much as £5m was to be tabled.
It's suggested Newcastle need to sell due to Financial Fair Play pressures.
Trippier's deal runs to 2025 and talks over a new deal are yet to be held.
