Newcastle will gel once new players adapt says Aarons

Newcastle United youngster Rolando Aarons believes that his side will bounce back once the summer signings gel together.

Despite starting the campaign with a lot of optimism following their summer splurge, Newcastle have endured a very difficult start.

Currently in 19th place on the Premier League table, Newcastle look no better now than they did last season. However, winger Aarons does not see any reason to panic and has stated that the Magpies will soon start producing the results once the new players adapt to life at St James' Park.

Aarons told the Chronicle: "I think obviously everyone is very disappointed (with the Watford result) but everyone is focused now and understands what he's going and knows what we need to get results.

"Everyone's focused. There's still a lot of games to be played and we've got new players and a new system that we need to gel together. I think once we get that we'll start getting results.

"I keep getting little tasters (off the bench) and obviously every time I play for Newcastle I love it but realistically I want to start every game, just as every other player in the squad does. I've just got to keep working hard, keep my head down and when I get the opportunity take it."
