Newcastle United have offered trials to Elche prospect Callum Douglas.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle are giving a trial to 16-year-old Elche youth talent Douglas.

The striker is English and grew up in the North East, starting his youth career at Wallsend Boys Club as a defender.

He moved to Spain when he was younger with his family, and he has impressed in Alicante's district leagues, scoring over 45 times for Elche's youth side this season.
