Newcastle teen Kacey Wooster tipped as one to watch

Newcastle United may not have signed a senior striker this summer, but they have new options up front.

The Magpies are looking at teenager Kacey Wooster, who arrived from Southend United, as one for the future.

While the likes of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson battle for a starting spot, Wooster could emerge as a squad player.

"Kacey is a little bit raw," Michael March, Southend's youth head, told ChronicleLive.

"That makes him stand out more and you think to yourself, 'He could be a player. There's something there with him.'"

Delroy Ebanks, Newcastle's lead scout, is the one who pushed the club to sign Wooster.
