Ola Toivonen has rapped PSV Eindhoven over their asking price for him.

Toivonen is being linked with Newcastle United, but PSV's €14 million assessment is putting them off.

The Sweden striker told Fotbollskanalen: "PSV's asking price is a bit unreasonable in my opinion.

"Of course, I would like to make the next step in my career. I have always been honest about that. I am keeping my options open.

"However, I would not feel bad about it if I stayed at PSV for another season."
