Marseille striker Loic Remy has blanked QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
Remy refused to speak to Harry Redknapp when he flew to France last weekend in a bid to lure the striker to Queens Park Rangers.
Redknapp had hoped to convince Remy to join him at Loftus Road after Marseille's win in a French Cup tie against Guingamp but suspects the club's relegation problems put him off.
"He didn't want to come," said the Rangers boss. "It doesn't help when you're bottom. Players will look at that and if there are other clubs in England after them, it can be difficult.
"I went over to watch him, not that I needed to, I watched seven times when I was at Spurs. Then he just did not want to speak about coming. I couldn't even get a meeting with him. I was hoping for a meeting to encourage him to come. He's not playing there. He played in the cup last week but he's not playing."
