Alfred Finnbogason is refusing to discuss a new deal with Heerenveen.
The Finland international striker is being linked this week with a January move to Newcastle United.
Voetbal International says his agent has refused Heerenveen's opening proposal, insisting it falls well short of what Finnbogason now deserves.
The striker has less than two years to run on his current deal and along with Toon, is also being linked with Cardiff City.
