Celtic striker Gary Hooper is looking to sign a new deal with the club despite interest from Premier League clubs.
The 23-year old has been prolifically among the goals since his arrival from Scunthorpe United in July 2010 and subsequently has begun to attract interest from the likes of Newcastle United, Sunderland and QPR.
But Hooper's father and agent, Gary Snr, indicated to SunSport that the player was prepared to extend his stay at Parkhead past the 18 months he still has left on his contract.
"He loves it at Celtic and the lifestyle he's got up there," Hooper Snr said.
"It's been a brilliant move for Gary. Celtic's a great club - one of the biggest in the world - and he has the chance to play in Europe too.
"Gary's scoring record speaks for itself.
"He joined Celtic totally focused on scoring as many goals as possible and winning trophies. The fact he is also completely settled off the park is extremely important.
"Gary could not be happier and that gives me and the rest of his family a lot of satisfaction."
Report also suggest that Hooper is being tracked by Championship clubs West Ham United, Ipswich Town and Leicester City.
