Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll says he has no idea of the press he receives.
Carroll insists he has no idea what the pundits think of him this season.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "It will not bother me. I don't bother reading newspapers - I don't even watch Match of the Day.
"That way, I don't know what anybody is saying and I can get on with my job. I just go to training, train well and prepare for the next game and work with the manager - I just focus on the job.
"When Saturday or a match comes, I just look forward to playing football and scoring goals for the team. That has got me this far, so I probably will not change my preparations for matches."
