Newcastle United starlet Tino Livramento has hailed Kieran Trippier's influence since his move to St. James' Park.
Livramento arrived from Southampton in a big money deal during the summer transfer window.
While the two players are competing for the same starting spot, Livramento admits that Trippier has been a great ally in getting him acclimatised on Tyneside.
He told Sky Sports: "He's been really good with me when I came in. Straight away, he was helping me out with anything I needed, not even football related but just on a human level I guess.
"Coming into training and everything, he's helped me with my game even on the side of the pitch. I remember when I was playing in that [Manchester] United game, he was just helping me by shouting out things and obviously you're going to listen when it's Kieran saying these things.
"It's been a real positive for me to have that guidance I guess, and it's coming from not only your manager or his coaching staff. It's coming from a player and that definitely helps as a player myself, coming from someone so experienced."
