Newcastle United are believed to be showing considerable interest in Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 23-year old French-born Gabon international has already been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Sunderland and Aston Villa and now the Magpies are looking to add to their strikeforce by bringing in the eight-goal forward.
Aubameyang, who kicked off his career with AC Milan and has since had loan spells with Dijon, Lille and Monaco, admits he would relish a potential move to the Premier League.
"I am fine at the moment at St Etienne and if there is interest in me then I can only thank God for that," he told Sky Sports.
"I really love the Premier League and hope to one day play in England, but there are other leagues in the world too, with good quality."
