Newcastle United have slapped a £20 million price-tag on Tim Krul.

The People says Tottenham are among a number of clubs watching the Dutchman, but they will have to spend big if they are to have any chance of taking him from the Geordies.

The 26-year-old Krul is one of the names on the north Londoners' watch-list in case they lose Hugo Lloris in the summer.

The France international signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane in the summer but wants to play regularly in the Champions League. Spurs are likely to miss out again and that will alert Madrid clubs, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
