Newcastle United skipper Fabricio Coloccini admits returning to San Lorenzo is on the agenda.

Coloccini faces being stripped of the captaincy this summer.

He told ESPN Radio FC: "Some day I would go back and be able to play in San Lorenzo and retire there. Last year we had arranged the return to San Lorenzo."

But he said that United would not let him leave. He said: "It is clear that they must defend their right because I had a contract."
