Newcastle United are on the verge of finalising a £2.25million deal for promising goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet.
The 22-year old Dutchman has a year to run on his PSV Eindhoven deal and could be lured away from Holland according to reports.
With Tim Krul and Rob Elliot already on Newcastle's books, Holland U21 international Zoet would be brought in as back-up with the view of becoming permanent number one at St James' Park down the track.
