Newcastle United are reportedly preparing a bid for CSKA Moscow's Russian international Alan Dzagoev.
The Daily Mirror is reporting Magpies boss Steve McClaren has identified Dzagoev as one of his primary targets during the January transfer window and is willing to splash out £10million for the attacking midfielder.
The 25-year-old has rediscovered his best form for CSKA this season after being plagued by injuries during previous campaigns.
It is understood Manchester-based lawyer Saide Moussallati is working to broker a deal to secure Dzagoev a contract in the Premier League.
