Newcastle set to hand Bruce enormous £200m transfer kitty

Newcastle United are ready to splash the cash in the summer.

The Magpies are determined to become a force in the Premier League under their new ownership.

A deal to buy the club is close to finalization from a Saudi Arabia-led consortium.

They will pay £300 million to take control of the club from Mike Ashley.

And the Mirror says that manager Steve Bruce will get £200 million to spend on players.

It is not all for transfer fees, as it will also go towards wages and other improvements with the senior and youth teams.

The consortium wants to keep Bruce in charge, at least for the short term.
