Newcastle United midfielder Mehdi Abeid is expected to leave in the summer.

The Evening Chronicle says St Johnstone, where Abeid is currently on-loan, are not going to follow up their interest in the player despite solid performances.

Another SPL side Ross County have expressed interest in Abeid.
