Newcastle United are lining up a January bid for Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.
The Mirror says the 21-year-old Blackpool midfield player is out of contract next summer and his club will pick up a token fee if he moves.
But if he is sold in January, Blackpool will collect around £4.5million - and it could be an offer they find difficult to refuse.
Blackpool - managed by Thomas's father Paul - are keen to open new contract talks.
But the England Under-21 international has so far resisted attempts to commit himself to a new deal. And Newcastle Director of Football Joe Kinnear is fully aware of Ince's ability.
