Newcastle United will fine Yohan Cabaye over his stop-work antics.
The Daily Mail says Cabaye will be fined over his refusal to play for Newcastle as his 'strike' extends into a second week, although his move to Arsenal teeters on the verge of collapse.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, who is urging the France international to make himself available for selection, will again be without Cabaye when his team travel to Morecambe.
Cabaye has refused to play for Newcastle since his club turned down a £10million offer from Arsenal last week. The Frenchman, who has taken advice from his agents on the matter, has missed the defeat at the Etihad followed by Saturday's draw at home to West Ham.
Cabaye trained with the first-team squad on Tuesday but will not travel to Morecambe. If he misses his fourth game this weekend, the £40,000-a-week midfielder faces a month's fine.
