Newcastle will have to pay a large compensation fee to make Sean Dyche their new manager, according to reports.
Toon are on the hunt for someone to replace Rafa Benitez, who will leave the club at the end of this month.
Dyche is one of the names being considered by the Magpies.
But they might have to wipe his name of their shortlist, with the Daily Mail revealing it would cost around £10m for Burnley to let Dyche leave Turf Moor.
The Englishman still has three years left on his contract, worth in region of £65k-a-week.
