Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is keen on Burnley striker Danny Ings.
The Mirror says Pardew's priority is to bring in three new strikers after freeing Shola Ameobi and shipping last season's loanees Loic Remy and Luuk de Jong back to parent clubs QPR and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Burnley's Ings, who carries a £7m price-tag, whizkid Ayoze Perez of Tenerife and Cagliari's £8.25m-rated Colombia international Victor Ibarbo are on his wish-list.
