Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew aims to land PSV Eindhoven fullback Erik Pieters for £4 million.
Pardew plans to sign Pieters in a £4m deal following Jose Enrique's move to Liverpool, says the Daily Star.
The Toon boss said: "There will be a new striker and full-back by the end of the month and if Joey goes, he will need replacing too."
