Newcastle United midfielder Michael Richardson hopes for a Premier League debut before the end of the season.
The Geordie is back in the second string after finding himself in the first-team squad in the last two matches.
Richardson told the Evening Chronicle: "It's always great to be involved in the first team, whether it's home or away.
"I'm making progress as a player, and we've still got five games left.
"The first team have got eight big games left in their season.
"It's not over yet. There's a lot of work to be done.
"I'm sure the results will improve."
