Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden says it will take the time to adapt playing under Steve Bruce.
The Magpies kicked off the season with a 1-0 loss to Arsenal at St. James' Park on Sunday.
And Hayden believes there will be an adjustment period under their new manager
He said: "I think it's going to take time. Unfortunately, in football, you don't seem to get much time.
"But the new manager's come in and it's going to take time to get used to him for a lot of the players.
"Then there's a new formation as well as new players coming in.
"There's a lot of change at the football club but as the weeks go on I think you'll start to see the benefit of it."
