Newcastle midfielder Bigirimana: Rangers move a gift from God

Newcastle United midfielder Gael Bigirimana is excited by his loan move to Rangers.

The youngster sees it as a fresh chance of first team football.

"I look at my whole life as a miracle," he told the Daily Mail. "Everything is a journey for me and I love challenges. Everything I go through, I am learning. When I left Coventry, people told me not to go to Newcastle. They said it was too early for me. But I went there and in the first year I played in the Premier League and made my dream come true.

"Okay, the last two years I haven't been involved as much and it has been tough. But, again, it's made me learn. I know there are a lot of talented players around the world but only a few make it. And those few are the ones that have strong character.

"When the tough times come, you have to know what you can do. Sometimes when you are going through a tough time, that doesn't mean you are not good enough. It just means something around your life is working for your own good.

"I am a great believer that when tough times come and challenges arise, there is a reason for it. This (move to Rangers) is a reward for my patience so I can' t wait. It is a gift from God."
