Newcastle United midfielder Mehdi Abeid is upset for teammate Haris Vuckic.

Vuckic is out for the season with a knee injury.

"I'm really, really sad for him and I wish him all the best," Abeid told nufc.co.uk.

"He doesn't have a lot of luck - he's had a lot of injuries before this season and I hope for him that it's going to be better in the future.

"He is one of my best friends here and I wish him all the best."
