Newcastle United striker Luuk de Jong, on loan from Borussia Monchengladbach, is keen to get on the scoresheet for the Magpies. "I have a good feeling playing for the Newcastle fans," the 23 year old Holland international told the Shields Gazette.
"When I came on against Sunderland, we were 2-0 down, of course, but the fans were still cheering me, and that gives me a good feeling.
"I just want to work hard for the team. I want to score goals and make some assists.
"That's important for the team. I know they will support me if I work hard for the team.
"Tottenham are a good team," he added. "But we play at home, so we've got a chance to beat them.
"It's going to be really tough. They have some good players."
