The race for FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong is heating up.

Newcastle United, Liverpool and Sevilla are all chasing the young Holland international ahead of the January market.

At 21, De Jong isn't rushing out of Twente, but his emergence has attracted the interest of Liverpool and Newcastle this season, while Sevilla have been following him since last summer.

Toon boss Alan Pardew sees De Jong as a replacement for Andy Carroll, while the Reds would consider the striker as cover for the England international.
