Newcastle United legend Rob Lee has slammed the sale of Yohan Cabaye to PSG.
Lee wrote in the Evening Chronicle: "It was hugely disappointing - if inevitable - to lose Yohan Cabaye.
"I now fear Loic Remy's summer exit is equally inevitable.
"Worse still, he may not be the only high-profile player to leave Newcastle United at the end of the season, and who will join them?
"They don't exactly scream ambition, do they?
"If Juan Mata is worth £37m, Cabaye is a snip at £20m.
"It was no secret he wanted out, he was always going to go once a big enough club showed some interest.
"Yet to sell him on the cheap and have no plan in place to bring someone in, you do wonder what Mike Ashley wants out of this season."
