Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow is facing an assessment on his leg after a collision with Marcus Rashford in the 4-1 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday.
The former Nottingham Forest stopper kept the score down and saved a penalty from Bruno Fernandes at St James' Park.
But is now doubtful for the next game and facing a scan with Steve Bruce's injury problems mounting, reports ChronicleLive.
Newcastle are already without Martin Dubravka - out with a heel injury - and will be down to the bare bones in the keeper department if Darlow is sidelined.
