Newcastle United are preparing a summer bid for QPR striker Charlie Austin.
The Sun reports that the Magpies are willing to spend £10million on the 25-year old who has scored a stunning 17 Premier League goals for the relegation-threatened R's this season.
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is reportedly determined to bring a number of new faces to St James' Park and is set to go after former Burnley ace Austin who has netted 37 goals in 68 appearances since his £4m move to Loftus Road in the summer of 2013.
