Newcastle Jets have picked up $250,000 for their performance in the Asian Champions League so far.
The Jets won their way through to the knockout stage of the tournament and if they can overcome Pohang Steelers in the round of 16 clash on June 24, they will net another $100,000 for their troubles.
Although the club gets to keep just 70% of that under a revenue-sharing deal with the A-League's other clubs, they have a chance to earn more if they can progress further in Asia's strongest club competition.
