Newcastle United are set to enter the race for Chelsea and Germany defender Antonio Rudiger.
The centre--half, who is out of contract in the summer, is yet to agree a new deal with Chelsea or a pre-contract with a foreign club.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle believe they can tempt Rudiger into remaining in the Premier League beyond this season.
The Magpies, who were unable to sign Sven Botman or Diego Carlos in the winter, want to build a team capable of qualifying for and winning European competitions with their new riches.
Rudiger also has offers from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and other teams.
