Newcastle United fullback Kieran Trippier doesn't believe Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone would succeed in England.

Trippier won the LaLiga title under Simeone with Atletico.

But he says: "I don't think Simeone could ever have been successful in England because when he was in the dressing room before every game he was very passionate, he was so overwhelmed with emotions that we were ready to go to war for him.

"And it didn't matter who you play with Cadiz and Levante or Barcelona, this is his mindset, which is why he would be disappointed working in England."
